Bearing Steel Grit
Bearing steel shot is available in models G10–G120, with particle sizes ranging from 2.5 mm to 0.2 mm.
Different grades are designed for varying cleaning intensities and surface roughness requirements.
They are suitable for applications from heavy rust removal to fine surface finishing.
Product Details
Bearing steel grit is a high-performance metallic abrasive manufactured from premium bearing steel through crushing, screening, and precisely controlled heat-treatment processes. The particles feature an angular, irregular shape, providing strong cutting ability, high cleaning efficiency, and long service life, making it suitable for industrial surface preparation applications with demanding performance requirements.
Compared with conventional cast steel grit, bearing steel grit offers higher hardness, more stable chemical composition, and a more uniform metallographic structure. During shot blasting or sandblasting operations, it effectively removes mill scale, rust, welding residues, and old coatings from workpiece surfaces, while producing a consistent surface profile. This ensures excellent surface conditions for subsequent coating, painting, or other surface treatment processes.
